Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Kuziie LLC ("Kuziie," "we," "us," or "our") provides educational consulting, tutoring, and family-support services to schools, families, and students. This policy explains what information we collect through kuziie.com and our parent, tutor, and admin portals (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver the Service:

• Account information. Name, email address, and phone number when you create a parent, tutor, or admin account.
• Student information. When a parent registers a student for a program, we collect the student's name, date of birth, grade level, school, and, where a parent chooses to share it, learning needs/accommodations and allergy or medical notes relevant to a program.
• Tutor application information. Name, email, phone, certifications, and background/experience details submitted through our tutor application form.
• Inquiry and form submissions. Information submitted through our contact, AI-governance consultation, and program-interest forms.
• Payment information. Program fees are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Kuziie never receives or stores your card number, expiration date, or CVC — that information goes directly to Stripe. We keep a record of the amount, date, and status of each payment, and, if you report an off-platform payment (Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, or check), the proof you upload (e.g., a screenshot) to verify it.
• Usage information. Standard technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) collected automatically when you use the Service.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to: create and manage accounts; register students for programs and process payments; match and communicate with tutors; respond to inquiries; send transactional communications (registration confirmations, payment receipts, session reminders); and maintain the security and integrity of the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use student information for advertising.

4. Children's information & parental consent

Kuziie's programs serve students under 18, including children under 13. A parent or legal guardian creates the account and submits student information on the student's behalf — students do not create their own accounts. We collect only the student information a parent chooses to provide as part of registering for a program, and we use it solely to deliver that program. A parent may review, update, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

5. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run Kuziie, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing their service to us:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and backend functions.
• Stripe — processes card payments. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.
• Google — provides the optional "Sign in with Google" option.
• ZeptoMail — (planned) will deliver transactional emails such as receipts and reminders.

Tutors see only the information needed to deliver their assigned sessions. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we disclose information to law enforcement or regulators only when required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep account and program records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time — see Section 8.

7. Your choices & rights

You can review and update most of your information directly from your portal account. You may also contact us to: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child; correct inaccurate information; or request deletion of your account and personal information, subject to what we're required to retain by law (for example, financial records).
