Parent Consent Policy
Draft last updated: August 30, 2026
1. Who must give consent
Every Kuziie program participant under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. By registering a student, you confirm that you are that student's parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to consent on their behalf.
2. What you're consenting to
By registering your child for a Kuziie program, you consent to:
- Your child's participation in the specific program you register them for, including its stated format (in-person or virtual), age range, and activities.
- Kuziie collecting the student information described in our Privacy Policy — name, date of birth, grade, school, and any learning needs, accommodations, or medical/allergy notes you choose to share — for the purpose of running that program safely.
- Kuziie or its tutors sharing program-relevant information about your child (for example, a session report) with you, and with the tutor(s) assigned to your child's program.
- Kuziie contacting you with information related to the program you registered for, including reminders, schedule changes, and payment communications.
3. Medical & accommodation information
Any medical, allergy, or accommodation information you provide is used only to help us support your child safely during the program, and is shared only with the staff or tutors directly involved in that program. You're responsible for keeping this information current — please update it in your parent portal, or contact us, if anything changes before a session.
4. Photos & video
Consent for photos or video taken during a program is covered separately in our Media Release Policy — participation in a program does not by itself grant Kuziie permission to use your child's image.
5. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw consent for your child's continued participation at any time by contacting us; see our Refund Policy for how withdrawing from an already-paid program affects fees.
